पर व इन्द्राय मादनं हर्यश्वाय गायत |
सखायः सोमपाव्ने

English:- . SING ye a song, to make him glad, to Indra, Lord of Tawny Steeds,

शंसेदुक्थं सुदानव उत दयुक्षं यथा नरः |
चक्र्मा सत्यराधसे
English:- To him the Bounteous say the laud, and let us glorify, as men May do, the Giver of true gifts.
तवं न इन्द्र वाजयुस्त्वं गव्युः शतक्रतो |
तवं हिरण्ययुर्वसो
English:- O Indra, Lord of boundless might, for us thou winnest strength and kine,
Thou winnest gold for us, Good Lord.

वयमिन्द्र तवायवो.अभि पर णोनुमो वर्षन |
विद्धी तवस्य नो वसो
English:- Faithful to thee we loudly sing, heroic Indra, songs to thee: Mark, O Good Lord, this act of ours.
मा नो निदे च वक्तवे.अर्यो रन्धीरराव्णे |
तवे अपि करतुर्मम
English:- Give us not up to man's reproach, to foeman's hateful calumny: In thee alone is all my strength.
तवं वर्मासि सप्रथः पुरोयोधश्च वर्त्रहन |
तवया परतिब्रुवे युजा
English:- Thou art mine ample coat of mail, my Champion, Vṛtra-Slayer, thou:

महानुतासि यस्य ते.अनु सवधावरी सहः |
मम्नाते इन्द्ररोदसी
English:- Yea, great art thou whose conquering might two independent Powers confess.

तं तवा मरुत्वती परि भुवद वाणी सयावरी |
नक्षमाणा सह दयुभिः
English:- So let the voice surround thee, which attends the Maruts on their way,

सं ते नमन्त कर्ष्टयः
English:- Let the ascending drops attain to thee, the Wondrous God, in heaven:

पर वो महे महिव्र्धे भरध्वं परचेतसे पर सुमतिं कर्णुध्वम |
विशः पूर्वीः पर चरा चर्षणिप्राः
English:- Bring to the Wise, the Great, who waxeth mighty, your offerings, and make ready your devotion;

उरुव्यचसे महिने सुव्र्क्तिमिन्द्राय बरह्म जनयन्त विप्राः |
तस्य वरतानि न मिनन्ति धीराः
English:- For Indra, the sublime, the far-pervading, have singers generated prayer and praises:

हर्यश्वाय बर्हया समापीन
English:- The choirs have stablished Indra King for ever, for victory, him whose anger is resistless:
