परातर अग्निः पुरुप्रियो विश सतवेतातिथिः |
विश्वानि यो अमर्त्यो हव्या मर्तेषु रण्यति

English:- . AT dawn let Agni, much-beloved guest of the house, be glorified;
Immortal who delights in all oblations brought by mortal men.

दविताय मर्क्तवाहसे सवस्य दक्षस्य मंहना |
इन्दुं स धत्त आनुषक सतोता चित ते अमर्त्य
English:- For Dvita who receives through wealth of native strength maimed offerings,
Thy praiser even gains at once the Soma-drops, Immortal Gods!

अरिष्टो येषां रथो वय अश्वदावन्न ईयते
English:- Nobles, with song I call that car of yours that shines with lengthened life,
For, God who givest steeds! that car hither and thither goes unharmed.

सतीर्णम बर्हिः सवर्णरे शरवांसि दधिरे परि
English:- They who have varied ways of thought, who guard the lauds within their lips,

English:- Immortal Agni, give the chiefs, heroes who institute the rite,
