इमा उ वां भर्मयो मन्यमाना युवावते न तुज्या अभूवन |
कव तयदिन्द्रावरुणा यशो वां येन समा सिनं भरथः सखिभ्यः
English:- . YOUR well-known prompt activities aforetime needed no impulse from your faithful servant.
Where, Indra-Varuṇa, is now that glory wherewith ye brought support to those who loved you?

अयमु वां पुरुतमो रयीयञ्छश्वत्तममवसे जोहवीति |
सजोषाविन्द्रावरुणा मरुद्भिर्दिवा पर्थिव्या शर्णुतं हवम्मे
English:- This man, most diligent, seeking after riches, incessantly invokes you for your favour.
Accordant, Indra-Varuṇa, with Maruts, with Heaven and Earth, hear ye mine invocation.

अस्मे तदिन्द्रावरुणा वसु षयादस्मे रयिर्मरुतः सर्ववीरः |
अस्मान वरूत्रीः शरणैरवन्त्वस्मान होत्रा भारती दक्षिणाभिः
English:- O Indra-Varuṇa, ours be this treasure ours be wealth, Maruts, with full store of heroes.
May the Varūtrīs with their shelter aid us, and Bhāratī and Hotrā with the Mornings.

बर्हस्पते जुषस्व नो हव्यानि विश्वदेव्य |
रास्व रत्नानि दाशुषे
English:- Be pleased! with our oblations, thou loved of all Gods, Bṛhaspati:
Give wealth to him who brings thee gifts.

शुचिमर्कैर्ब्र्हस्पतिमध्वरेषु नमस्यत |
अनाम्योज आचके
English:- At sacrifices, with your hymns worship the pure Bṛhaspati-
I pray for power which none may bend-

वर्षभं चर्षणीनां विश्वरूपमदाभ्यम |
बर्हस्पतिंवरेण्यम
English:- The Bull of men, whom none deceive, the wearer of each shape at will,
Bṛhaspati Most Excellent.

इयं ते पूषन्नाघ्र्णे सुष्टुतिर्देव नव्यसी |
अस्माभिस्तुभ्यं शस्यते
English:- Divine, resplendent Pūṣan, this our newest hymn of eulogy,
By us is chanted forth to thee.

तां जुषस्व गिरं मम वाजयन्तीमवा धियम |
वधूयुरिव योषणाम
English:- Accept with favour this my song, be gracious to the earnest thought,
Even as a bridegroom to his bride.

यो विश्वाभि विपश्यति भुवना सं च पश्यति |
स नः पूषाविता भुवत
English:- May he who sees all living things, see, them together at a glance,-
May he, may Pūṣan be our help.

तत सवितुर्वरेण्यं भर्गो देवस्य धीमहि |
धियो यो नः परचोदयात
English:- May we attain that excellent glory of Savitar the God:
So May he stimulate our prayers.

देवस्य सवितुर्वयं वाजयन्तः पुरन्ध्या |
भगस्य रातिमीमहे
English:- With understanding, earnestly, of Savitar the God we crave
Our portion of prosperity.

देवं नरः सवितारं विप्रा यज्ञैः सुव्र्क्तिभिः |
नमस्यन्ति धियेषिताः
English:- Men, singers worship Savitar the God with hymn and holy rites,
Urged by the impulse of their thoughts.

सोमो जिगाति गातुविद देवानामेति निष्क्र्तम |
रतस्य योनिमासदम
English:- Soma who gives success goes forth, goes to the gathering place of Gods,
To seat him at the seat of Law.

सोमो अस्मभ्यं दविपदे चतुष्पदे च पशवे |
अनमीवा इषस करत
English:- To us and to our cattle may Soma give salutary food,
To biped and to quadruped.

अस्माकमायुर्वर्धयन्नभिमातीः सहमानः |
सोमः सधस्थमासदत
English:- May Soma, strengthening our power of life, and conquering our foes,
In our assembly take his seat.

आ नो मित्रावरुणा घर्तैर्गव्यूतिमुक्षतम |
मध्वा रजांसि सुक्रतू
English:- May Mitra-Varuṇa, sapient Pair, bedew our pasturage with oil,
With meatb the regions of the air.

उरुशंसा नमोव्र्धा मह्ना दक्षस्य राजथः |
दराघिष्ठाभिः शुचिव्रता
English:- Far-ruling, joyful when adored, ye reign through majesty of might,
With pure laws everlastingly.

गर्णाना जमदग्निना योनाव रतस्य सीदतम |
पातं सोमं रताव्र्धा
English:- Lauded by Jamadagni's song, sit in the place of holy Law:
