Quran Surah 55 - Ar-Rahman (The Beneficent)

Ayat 1 - AR-RAHMAN
Ayat 2 - Bestowed the Qur´an,
Ayat 3 - Created man,
Ayat 4 - And taught him to express clearly.
Ayat 5 - The sun and moon revolve to a computation;
Ayat 6 - And the grasses and the trees bow (to Him) in adoration.
Ayat 7 - He raised the sky and set the Balance
Ayat 8 - So that none may err against the scales,
Ayat 9 - And observe correct measure, weigh with justice, and not cheat the balance.
Ayat 10 - He positioned the earth for all the creatures:
Ayat 11 - There are fruits of all kinds on it, and date-palms with their clusters sheathed,
Ayat 12 - Grain with husk, and fragrant grasses.
Ayat 13 - How many favours of your Lord will then both of you deny?
Ayat 14 - He created man of fermented clay dried tinkling hard like earthen ware,
Ayat 15 - And created jinns from the white-hot flame of fire.
Ayat 16 - How many favours of your Lord will you then deny?
Ayat 17 - Lord of the two Easts, Lord of the two Wests.
Ayat 18 - How many favours of your Lord will then both of you deny?
Ayat 19 - He has set two seas in motion that flow side by side together,
Ayat 20 - With an interstice between them which they cannot cross.
Ayat 21 - How many favours of your Lord will then both of you deny? --
Ayat 22 - Out of them come pearls and coral.
Ayat 23 - How many favours of your Lord will you then deny?
Ayat 24 - His are the high-sailed vessels in deep ocean like the mountains.
Ayat 25 - How many favours of your Lord will then both of you deny?
Ayat 26 - All that is on the earth is passing,
Ayat 27 - But abiding is the glory of your Lord, full of majesty and beneficence.
Ayat 28 - How many favours of your Lord will you then deny?
Ayat 29 - All those there are in the heavens and the earth turn to Him with solicitation, intent on His purpose all the time.
Ayat 30 - How many favours of your Lord will you then deny?
Ayat 31 - We shall soon be free to turn to you, O weary caravans,
Ayat 32 - How many favours of your Lord will you then deny?
Ayat 33 - O society of jinns and men, cross the bounds of the heavens and the earth if you have the ability, then pass beyond them; but you cannot unless you acquire the law.
Ayat 34 - How many favours of your Lord will you then deny?
Ayat 35 - Let loose at you will be smokeless flames of fire so that you will not be able to defend yourselves.
Ayat 36 - How many favours of your Lord will then both of you deny?
Ayat 37 - When the sky will split asunder, and turn rosy like the dregs of annointing oil,
Ayat 38 - Which of the favours of your Lord will you then deny?
Ayat 39 - Neither man nor jinn will be questioned on that day about his sin.
Ayat 40 - How many favours of your Lord will you then deny?
Ayat 41 - The sinners will be recognised by their marks, and seized by the forelock and their feet.
Ayat 42 - Which of the favours of your Lord will you then deny?
Ayat 43 - This is Hell the sinners called a lie.
Ayat 44 - They will go round and around between it and boiling water.
Ayat 45 - Which of the favours of your Lord will you then deny?
Ayat 46 - But for him who lived in awe of the sublimity of his Lord, there will be two gardens --
Ayat 47 - How many favours of your Lord will then both of you deny? --
Ayat 48 - Full of overhanging branches --
Ayat 49 - Which of the favours of your Lord will you then deny? --
Ayat 50 - With two springs of water flowing through them both. --
Ayat 51 - Which of the favours of your Lord will then both of you deny?
Ayat 52 - In both of them there will be every kind of fruits in pairs. --
Ayat 53 - Which of the favours of your Lord will then both of you deny? --
Ayat 54 - Reclining there on carpets lined with brocade, fruits of the garden hanging low within reach.
Ayat 55 - How many favours of your Lord will then both of you deny?
Ayat 56 - In them maidens with averted glances, undeflowered by man or by jinn before them, --
Ayat 57 - Which of the favours of your Lord will then both of you deny? --
Ayat 58 - As though rubies and pearls.
Ayat 59 - Which of the favours of your Lord will then both of you deny?
Ayat 60 - Should the reward of goodness be aught else but goodness? --
Ayat 61 - How many favours of your Lord will then both of you deny? --
Ayat 62 - And besides these two other gardens --
Ayat 63 - Which of the favours of your Lord will then both of you deny? --
Ayat 64 - Of darkest verdant green --
Ayat 65 - How many favours of your Lord will then both of you deny? --
Ayat 66 - With two fountains gushing constantly, --
Ayat 67 - How many favours of your Lord will then both of you deny? --
Ayat 68 - With fruits in them, and dates and pomegranates --
Ayat 69 - How many favours of your Lord will then both of you deny? --
Ayat 70 - In them good and comely maidens --
Ayat 71 - How many favours of your Lord will you then deny? --
Ayat 72 - Houris cloistered in pavilions --
Ayat 73 - How many favours of your Lord will you then deny? --
Ayat 74 - Undeflowered by man or by jinn before them, --
Ayat 75 - How many favours of your Lord will then both of you deny? --
Ayat 76 - Reclining on green cushions and rich carpets excellent.
Ayat 77 - How many favours of your Lord will you then deny?
Ayat 78 - Blessed be the name of your Lord, full of majesty and beneficience.
