1 Thessalonians (1 थिस्सलुनीकियों) >> Work of Faith, Labor of Love, Steadfastness of Hope
1 पौलुस और सिलवानुस और तीमुथियुस की ओर से थिस्सलुनिकियों की कलीसिया के नाम जो परमेश्वर पिता और प्रभु यीशु मसीह में है॥ अनुग्रह और शान्ति तुम्हें मिलती रहे॥
1 Paul, and Silvanus, and Timotheus, unto the church of the Thessalonians which is in God the Father and in the Lord Jesus Christ: Grace be unto you, and peace, from God our Father, and the Lord Jesus Christ.
2 हम अपनी प्रार्थनाओं में तुम्हें स्मरण करते और सदा तुम सब के विषय में परमेश्वर का धन्यवाद करते हैं।
2 We give thanks to God always for you all, making mention of you in our prayers;
3 और अपने परमेश्वर और पिता के साम्हने तुम्हारे विश्वास के काम, और प्रेम का परिश्रम, और हमारे प्रभु यीशु मसीह में आशा की धीरता को लगातार स्मरण करते हैं।
3 Remembering without ceasing your work of faith, and labour of love, and patience of hope in our Lord Jesus Christ, in the sight of God and our Father;
4 और हे भाइयो, परमेश्वर के प्रिय लोगों हम जानतें हैं, कि तुम चुने हुए हो।
4 Knowing, brethren beloved, your election of God.
5 क्योंकि हमारा सुसमाचार तुम्हारे पास न केवल वचन मात्र ही में वरन सामर्थ और पवित्र आत्मा, और बड़े निश्चय के साथ पहुंचा है; जैसा तुम जानते हो, कि हम तुम्हारे लिये तुम में कैसे बन गए थे।
5 For our gospel came not unto you in word only, but also in power, and in the Holy Ghost, and in much assurance; as ye know what manner of men we were among you for your sake.
6 और तुम बड़े क्लेश में पवित्र आत्मा के आनन्द के साथ वचन को मान कर हमारी और प्रभु की सी चाल चलने लगे।
6 And ye became followers of us, and of the Lord, having received the word in much affliction, with joy of the Holy Ghost:
7 यहां तक कि मकिदुनिया और अखया के सब विश्वासियों के लिये तुम आदर्श बने।
7 So that ye were ensamples to all that believe in Macedonia and Achaia.
8 क्योंकि तुम्हारे यहां से न केवल मकिदुनिया और अखया में प्रभु का वचन सुनाया गया, पर तुम्हारे विश्वास की जो परमेश्वर पर है, हर जगह ऐसी चर्चा फैल गई है, कि हमें कहने की आवश्यकता ही नहीं।
8 For from you sounded out the word of the Lord not only in Macedonia and Achaia, but also in every place your faith to God-ward is spread abroad; so that we need not to speak any thing.
9 क्योंकि वे आप ही हमारे विषय में बताते हैं कि तुम्हारे पास हमारा आना कैसा हुआ; और तुम कैसे मूरतों से परमेश्वर की ओर फिरे ताकि जीवते और सच्चे परमेश्वर की सेवा करो।
9 For they themselves shew of us what manner of entering in we had unto you, and how ye turned to God from idols to serve the living and true God;
10 और उसके पुत्र के स्वर्ग पर से आने की बाट जोहते रहो जिसे उस ने मरे हुओं में से जिलाया, अर्थात यीशु की, जो हमें आने वाले प्रकोप से बचाता है॥
10 And to wait for his Son from heaven, whom he raised from the dead, even Jesus, which delivered us from the wrath to come.
